Saigon, officially known as Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC), is the largest city in Vietnam and one of the most vibrant and dynamic urban centers in Southeast Asia. Located in the southern part of the country, Saigon has played a pivotal role in Vietnam’s history, particularly during the Vietnam War, when it served as the capital of South Vietnam.

Today, Saigon is a bustling metropolis, known for its mix of modern skyscrapers and historical French colonial architecture. The city’s energy is palpable, with busy streets, motorbikes zipping through traffic, and a thriving business and cultural scene. Key landmarks include the War Remnants Museum, Notre-Dame Cathedral, and Ben Thanh Market, offering a glimpse into both the city’s colonial past and its rapid modern growth.

Saigon is also famous for its food scene, offering a variety of traditional Vietnamese dishes like “pho” (noodle soup), “banh mi” (Vietnamese sandwich), and “goi cuon” (spring rolls), often enjoyed in the lively street food stalls scattered throughout the city.

With its blend of history, culture, commerce, and vibrant street life, Saigon is a city of contrasts that continues to evolve while retaining its unique charm.

ITINERARY:

DAY 1: HO CHI MINH ARRIVAL (D)

✅ Overnight at Ho Chi Minh

DAY 2: SAIGON – CU CHI – CITY TOUR HALF DAY (B/L/D)

✅ Breakfast at restaurant

✅ Visit Cu Chi – located 60km from Ho Chi Minh City, Cu Chi is now considered a heroic district for its role in the anti – American war in Vietnam. It is legendary for its tunnels system of over 220km and is a popular spot for both Vietnamese and foreign visitors. The peacefully rural rice paddy scenery contains ducks and water buffalos swimming in the rivers alongside the road. Visitors will find it hard to imagine the destructions, damage and defoliation all over the area, caused by bombing and mines when Cu Chi was “A Free Target Zone”. The remnants visitors will see that Cu Chi still has her evidence to prove the
fierce battleground that took place there and visitors will see the remnants.

✅ Lunch time at Restaurant

✅ In the afternoon, join with the tour guide for half day city tour. You will begin your urban experience in bustling Saigon, the country commercial center and home to a growing number of upscale shops.

✅ Visit the Reunification Palace, the Opera House and the Hotel de Ville, Notre Dame Cathedral

✅ Then visit Ben Thanh market before ending this day.

✅ Get dinner at Restaurant

✅ Back to hotel to take a rest

✅ Overnight in Saigon

DAY 3: SAIGON – MY THO – BEN TRE (B/L/D)

✅ Breakfast at restaurant

✅ Driver and Tour guide will pick up you from hotel to start visit Ben Tre – My Tho

✅ Cruise on the Mekong river for sightseeing: the view of the river’s banks, fish – floating market and islands of Dragon, Unicorn,Turtle, Phoenix.

✅ Land on Unicorn island: Visit a bee-farm and enjoy honey-tea.

✅ Visit coconut candy workshop, taste fresh candies (BenTre Province).

✅ Get on a horse-cart on the countryside road.

✅ Visit an orchard of tropical fruits, enjoy seasonal fruits and listen to Southern traditional music.

✅ Lunch time at restaurant

✅ Return to Ho Chi Minh

✅ Have dinner at restaurant

✅ Overnight in Saigon

DAY 4: HO CHI MINH – DEPARTURE (B)

✅ Morning – Breakfast at the restaurant

✅Transfer to the airport to take the flight to your next destination.
