Mt. Kerinci is the second highest mountain (3,805 m) in Indonesia after Carstensz Pyramid in Papua and the highest volcano in Southeast Asia. Situated in Kerinci-Seblat National Park that is spread over West Sumatra, South Sumatra, Jambi and Bengkulu Provinces, it is home to Sumatran rhinos, tigers and elephants. Reaching the summit entails 7 hours trekking through tropical rainforest and 3 hours on gravel and sand.

ITINERARY HIGHLIGHTS:
- Day 1: Departure Singapore & Arrival Padang – Kersik Tuo village
Arrive at Minangkabau International Airport in Padang, West Sumatra. Transferred southward 8 hours overland to Kersik Tuo village. Lunch will be served. Dinner and overnight at homestay.
- Day 2: Kersik Tuo – Shelter 3
Breakfast at homestay. Start trekking through the tropical rainforest. Lunch will be served on the trail. Arrive at Shelter 3 at an altitude of 3,302 m, where you will have dinner and set up your campsite for overnight.
- Day 3: Shelter 3 – Summit – Kersik Tuo
Wake up at 2.30 a.m. Hot tea or coffee and snacks will be served before summiting the highest point of Mt. Kerinci. After sunrise, trek back to Kersik Tuo village. Dinner and overnight at homestay.
- Day 4: Kersik Tuo – Gunung Tujuh Lake – Padang
Breakfast at homestay. Transfer to Gunung Tujuh lake starting point. Trekking to the highest natural lake for 3 hours. Back to Kersik Tuo for lunch. Afterward drive back to Padang. Dinner enroute. Check in hotel.
- Day 5: Padang – Departure to Singapore
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer back to airport for flight to Singapore.
