Welcome to Looppee. These Terms and Conditions govern your use and the booking of our travel services. Kindly read these Terms carefully before making a booking. The terms ‘you’, ‘your’ refers to the Participants and the terms ‘us’, ‘we’, ‘our’ refers to Looppee (UEN: 53469414D).
- Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. This means that you understand and accept the responsibilities and rules outlined here, which govern your use of our website and services.
- Disclaimer and Indemnity
You acknowledge that adventure travel involves inherent risks and dangers, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, and death. By participating, you agree to do so at your own risk and indemnify and hold harmless Looppee, its employees, agents, and affiliates from any claims arising from your participation in the activities offered by us. This indemnity covers all types of damages, including consequential and indirect losses.
You understand the physical requirements of the activity in which you will be participating, and you currently have no known physical, medical or mental condition, which would impair your ability to participate in travel or your safety in this activity, and you are willing to assume all risks that may be created, directly or indirectly, by any such condition.
We shall not be responsible in case of accidents, losses, or damages incurred by you, this includes, but is not limited to, financial losses, property damage, illness, injury, harm, trauma, death, or any related pain and suffering.
We are not obligated by any verbal assurances or promises made by our employees or agents unless they are documented in writing and signed by an authorized management executive. Please obtain written confirmation for any changes to the standard terms and conditions.
- Health Information
You must ensure you are medically and physically fit for the chosen adventure. It is your responsibility to consult with a healthcare provider before engaging in any strenuous activities. We may require proof of fitness or a medical certificate as deemed necessary.
You must disclose any pre-existing medical conditions that may require special attention or treatment during the trip. Failure to do so may result in limited medical assistance or evacuation challenges.
- Emergency Contact Information
You must provide emergency contact information before the trip begins. This information is essential for ensuring timely assistance in case of emergencies.
- Participant Information
You agree to provide accurate and complete information when requested by us for the purposes of booking and participating in our activities. This includes, but is not limited to, your full name, contact information, emergency contact details, and any relevant health or dietary information. Failure to provide such information may result in the cancellation of your booking without refund.
- Booking and Payments
All bookings are subject to availability. A deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation. Full payment must be made by the specified date prior to departure. We accept various payment methods (PayNow, Bank transfer and Credit Card). Failure to pay on time may result in the cancellation of your booking, and you will be subject to the cancellation policies outlined below.
- Cancellation of Trip
You may cancel your reservation by notifying us via email at hello@looppee.sg. Cancellation fees will be calculated as follows:
– Cancellation notice received more than 90 days before the date of departure: we will refund 100% of the Total Tour fee
– Cancellation notice received between 45 and 90 days before the date of departure: we will refund 40% of the Total Tour fee
– Cancellation notice received less than 45 days before the date of departure: we will refund 0% of the Total Tour fee
– We reserve the right to cancel a trip due to circumstances beyond our control, such as natural disasters or political instability. In such cases, a full refund will be provided
- Travel Documentation and Requirements
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary travel documents, including passports, visas, and permits. We will not be liable for any delays or additional expenses incurred due to insufficient or incorrect documentation. Kindly ensure and verify the entry requirements for your destination well in advance of your trip.
- Travel Insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory for all participants. Your insurance must cover personal accident, medical expenses, emergency evacuation, trip cancellation, and insolvency of the travel agency.
- Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your participation in the activities offered. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of personal belongings, delays, or cancellations.
- Conditions of Suppliers
We act as an agent for third-party suppliers such as accommodation providers, transportation companies, and activity operators. We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of these suppliers.
If a supplier cancels the trip, we will make reasonable efforts to arrange an alternative of comparable value. If no suitable alternative is available, you will receive a full refund for the portion of the trip affected by the cancellation. We will not be liable for any additional expenses you may incur as a result of the supplier’s cancellation.
- Force Majeure
We will not be liable for any failure to perform our obligations due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, strikes, and government restrictions. In such events, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule or otherwise accommodate affected participants.
- Use of Photography and Media
By participating in our trip, you consent to the use of your image in photographs and videos taken during the trip for promotional, marketing and informational purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please inform us in writing prior to departure.
- Code of Conduct
You are expected to behave respectfully and responsibly towards fellow travelers, guides, and local communities. Any behaviour deemed disruptive or harmful may result in removal from the trip without a refund.
- Local Laws and Regulations
You must comply with all local laws and regulations of the countries and regions they visit. Any legal issues or fines incurred due to non-compliance are the your responsibility.
- Special Requests
Any special requests, such as dietary requirements or accommodation preferences, must be communicated to us at the time of booking. While we will attempt to accommodate such requests, we cannot guarantee they will be met.
- Itinerary Changes
We reserve the right to modify itineraries due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather conditions, political instability, or other concerns. You will be informed of changes as soon as possible.
- Parental Consent
For participants under the age of 18, parental or guardian consent is required. We may request additional documentation to verify consent and ensure the minor’s safety during the trip.
- Non-Transferability
Bookings are non-transferable unless explicitly stated. You cannot transfer your booking to another individual without our consent.
- Amendments to Booking
Any changes to an existing booking, such as altering travel dates or upgrading accommodations, are subject to availability and may incur additional charges. All amendments must be requested in writing.
- Late Arrivals and No-Shows
In case you arrive late or do not show up for the start of the trip you will not be entitled to a refund. It is the your responsibility to ensure you arrive on time for the departure.
- Complaints and Feedback
Any complaints or issues during the trip should be reported immediately to the tour leader or our representative. We value feedback and will address concerns promptly to ensure a satisfactory resolution. If the issue is not resolved to your satisfaction, a formal complaint can be submitted in writing after the trip.
- Data and Privacy
We are committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Your information will be used only for the purposes of providing and improving our services, and will not be shared with third parties without your consent, except as necessary for trip arrangements.
- Changes to terms and conditions
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. It is your responsibility to review these Terms and Conditions periodically. Your continued use of our services constitute acceptance of any changes.
